Cheltenham Face Painting provides beautiful face and body art for a full variety of events and parties. We offer original, beautiful or seasonal face painting for children and adults alike. No event is too big or small. We have fabulous Clients and we have worked with many of them for over 15 years.
The Team who are growing in numbers have all been professionally trained and are equipped with the skills to provide very unique and versatile faces. We aim to please not only the children but also the parents. Face painting is definitely not just for children any longer. Think Festival designs.

We hold Public Liability insurance. Our health and hygiene procedures are of the highest standard. These have also been adjusted since Covid 19. Our health and our customers' health is paramount to us.

A Personal Hi from Sally and Introduction:
Hello there, I am the founder of Cheltenham Face Painting – I chose the name for its simplicity – it does what it says – 'face painting' in Cheltenham. Cheltenham is a beautiful area in the Cotswolds, a beautiful Regency Town. We travel to many other areas such as Gloucester, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Wiltshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands and many, many more. All mentioned in areas we cover. Please see link.
I originally lived in Birmingham and moved to Cheltenham in 2004. I have a passion for art and anything creative. Most importantly, I am very approachable, have a very professional approach and a strong background in marketing so will help any event be a great success.
In my previous working career, I was very much in the Corporate world. Running Business centres for a plc London company and responsible for the management and running of three prominent Birmingham City Centre multi purpose Business Centres. Also managing a team.
For corporate or local events, we also promote via Facebook and Instagram. On Instagram please check under @sallyannlynchartist and @Cheltfacepaint. We have over 5,800 followers on Facebook for Cheltenham Face Painting. For Sally-Ann Lynch Training Tried & Tested, which is our product and tuition page, we have over 23K followers. On Instagram as of Sept 2026 we have over 11.6K followers. This means we are doing something right.
I started face painting purely for my daughter Daisy who is now 33 and who is part of the Cheltenham Face Painting team. Daisy belonged to a dancing/drama school and performed in many shows where I was asked to do the face painting. I loved it so much that I went and trained in London which proved invaluable. I set up Cheltenham Face Painting in 2007 and as the business grew, I trained others to face paint and our team got bigger and is continuing to grow and evolve. Daisy now also runs her own successful Art School in the bougie area in Cheltenham, known as The Suffolks. But more about Daisy below.
We do not believe in rushing any of the faces we paint and therefore deliver a very high quality and standard – and because of this we get many great Corporate Clients. These Clients/Customers use us year after year. One of our valued corporate Clients was Cheltenham Racecourse for over 12 years. Others include Daylesford Organic Farm in Moreton in Marsh owned by Lord & Lady Bamford. Daisy-Jane Lynch
Daisy for 10 years was a Super talented Performing Arts Teacher, Face Painter and Children's Entertainer in drama, dance and art classes.
Daisy, my very creative and talented daughter, has been a part of Cheltenham Face Painting and Events since she was 21. Now 33 Daisy still plays a fundamental part of Cheltenham Face Painting. Her level of face painting is exceptional. Her butterflies are stunning.
Daisy is also an amazing singer and dancer and used to offer Entertainment packages. The children love her!
She was short-listed when she was only 10 years of age for the renowned Sylvia Young Drama & Performing Arts in London.
Daisy now predominantly concentrates on her own business based in The Suffolks, Cheltenham. Known for its bougie-ness and boasting independent creative outlets.
Daisy works with home education children in the week. After school clubs and school holiday clubs. Our Team & Training
We also have other regular team members and a sister company called Sally-Ann Lynch Training Tried & Tested, where we offer full face painting training. We have gone on to train many ladies who have given up their previous full time occupations to enter into this lovely world of face painting. Sally has travelled the world teaching her skills to many other professional face painters. Traveling to Australia, USA Florida, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium, The Netherlands and all over the UK.

We can find you a face painter for 'anywhere' – not just Cheltenham and the surrounding areas. We have an extensive database and use and source only the best professional face painters Nationwide. If we cannot find one with the right criteria, we will let you know. We do not simply approve anyone. This will ensure your events are truly enhanced.

Team members on-board are trained personally by myself and will only be accepted as part of the Cheltenham Face Painting team when they have reached the highest of standards. We always endeavour to ensure your party requirements go ahead without any problems and we guarantee you 100% customer satisfaction. We do not just offer face painting for children – the options are endless. Weddings are proving very popular and we are attending more and more. The children are kept entertained and many adults have a go too, especially the brides! We have also attended Balls where ladies come and get adorned with beautiful artwork on their faces, arms and necks – better than any corsage!
Do you need your children kept busy at high end events? We have you covered. We can entertain and we can bring along arts and crafts. We also have our own beautiful teepee that can be hired upon request.

Face Painting Training
We also offer face painting training lessons. These can be either:
One-to-One Lessons
At my home in Cheltenham in a very relaxed atmosphere. The day usually runs from 11am–4pm or 10am–3pm (to be agreed). The day costs £250.00 and includes:
- Use of all equipment on the day
- An A3 practice board (reusable) worth £23.00 to take home
- Homemade food and drink – even a glass of prosecco!
- One month's free admission to my online pre-recorded tutorials worth £30
- A completion certificate
Group Training
At my home in Cheltenham in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. No more than 4 ladies in a group setting, usually run on a Sunday each month. Most classes have sold out! Costs £135 per person and includes:
- All equipment included for use on the day
- A free A4 practice board (reusable) worth £13.00 to take home
- Homemade food and drinks – even a glass of prosecco!
- One month's free entry to my online tuition members group with over 140 pre-recorded tutorials
- A completion certificate
Once attendance is confirmed (by text/WhatsApp/email etc.), this forms your acceptance and my terms and conditions are in place. The day is non-refundable or transferable unless otherwise agreed.
Online Training
I offer two kinds of admissions to my online onestroke tutorials:
- One month – £40.00
- One year – £120.00
Yearly members are entitled to discounts on products: 10% off bespoke palettes and 30% off practice and display boards. These offers cannot be used alongside any other offers that may be running.
